So you're interested in joining our team? Great! The goal of the Mansfield Area Chamber of Commerce is to organize and advance the general welfare and prosperity of the Mansfield area, so that its citizens and all areas of its business community may prosper.
The director communicates and collaborates with the Chamber board, Chamber members, local government, and community members. The director plans Chamber sponsored events, fundraising, and supports members with marketing, recruitment, and other services.
Qualification Requirements:

Proven experience in a leadership role and self-motivated.

Knowledge and experience in fundraising, developing and implementing of marketing strategies.

Ability to collaborate with local government, businesses, and community members.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders.

Strong organizational and financial management skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Drive and managing social media.

Ability to work independently with little direction.

Exhibits reliability.

Responsibilities will include:

Supporting businesses through marketing, networking, and educational opportunities

Recruitment of members in the local and surrounding areas
-
Communicating in professional manner with local businesses and community members
-
Planning events; fundraising, parades, ribbon cuttings, luncheons, local events, etc.

Attending meetings with local government, businesses, community center and Chamber
-
Familiar with Mansfield and surrounding areas
-
Ability to work flexible hours as needed, especially during events

Computer proficient, including Microsoft Word & Excel, & Booking program
Job Details:

Part Time ~12 Hours per week - more during events

Office Hours: Negotiable

Required attendance 2nd Wed of each month 11am - 1pm for monthly board meeting

Pays $14 hourly - Current funding for 1 year
